MATERIALS
Insulation 100% Canadian Eiderdown. Sustainably harvested & collected from the nests.
Trim (Collar) Genuine sheepskin undyed, ethically sourced from New Zealand.
Lining A 100g silky fabric woven in Como, Italy from 100% GRS Recycled Nylon (PA). Down-proof, breathable, and easy to maintain, it ensures comfort against the skin while keeping eiderdown in and moisture out.
Hardware N°10 Nickel-free brass zippers, made in Switzerland. The most reliable and sturdy hardware, in a neat black copper finish to blend smoothly with Olmsted's clean aesthetic.
OUTER SHELL
Coated Cotton
Natural fiber fabric (455 gr.) Coated Cotton Canvas, proofed and woven in Como, Italy. Made of a 100% cotton, weatherproofed with a mat PU coating, giving Olmsted's outer a unique appearance and an extreme resistance to the elements. This technical cotton remains washable and will not transfer oil.
The Aviator
The Aviator draws from the original MA-1 flight jacket silhouette. Olmsted reinterprets this iconic bomber jacket in the rarest, kindest — yet unapologetically geeky — way.
Cut from weatherproofed organic cotton canvas, it replaces traditional synthetic flight nylon with a matte, natural shell that is both protective and refined. A sturdy metal zipper anchors the front, reinforcing its utilitarian aviation roots.
Finished with a thick shearling mouton sheepskin collar and heavy ribbing at the cuffs and waistband, and insulated with precious Canadian eiderdown, it preserves the authentic flight-jacket profile. Made in Montréal, The Aviator is a rare, distinctive take on the bomber — a forever staple.
